For a couple of weeks we will be following workouts, starting with their post from January 27th, with a little of our own skill and strength work added in . Why are we doing this? Why not? posts a variety of workouts that are both fun and challenging. This is original CrossFit. This is how Shelby and I started back in late 2007. It is good to go back to our roots ever so often. Each day I will post a link to the original posting so you can read through the hundreds of comments from people all over the world who follow the workouts and post their times. See how you stack up to others and while you are their take some time to read through and all of the valuable information they have on the site.

Attempt PRs with as much warm-up, ramp-up, and rest between efforts as needed of:
1RM Overhead squat
1,000 meter Row
Ring Dips

After a short group warm-up you will have the remaining class time to find a 1RM OHS, then your fastest 1000m row and then your max rep ring dips (scaling progression: feet on box ring dips -> box dips -> ring push-ups -> deep parallette push-ups -> push-ups). You may warm-up and rest between exercises as much or as little as you want as long as you complete all 3 tests within the class time.
